Prayer Guide

Jubilee is a church that is founded on prayer and we have set our hearts to be a people of prayer and house of prayer. Understanding the importance of prayer is not enough, it needs to become a consistent part of our life. It should be something we look forward to. In order for us to enjoy prayer, we need to be taught how to pray. There are many different ways to pray, this outline shows you a very simple Biblical model to pray every day. When you discover the power of daily conversations with God, you’ll experience the presence of God and how His presence can transform your life.

God wants our relationship with Him to be living and breathing. The mark of a strong relationship with God is a strong prayer life. Prayer should be our first response and not our last resort. Once you learn how to pray, prayer should become part of your daily life.

Prayer changes everything!

All About Fasting

At Jubilee, we encourage fasting as part of the 21 Days of prayer in January. These 21 Days are a dedicated time for focused prayer as a church family. You may also choose to fast at other times during the year for your own spiritual growth.

“When you fast, don’t look like those who pretend to be spiritual. They want everyone to know they’re fasting, so they appear in public looking miserable, gloomy, and disheveled. Believe me, they’ve already received their reward in full. When you fast don’t let it be obvious, but instead, wash your face and groom yourself and realize that your Father in the secret place is the one who is watching all that you do in secret and will continue to reward you openly.”
Matthew 6:16-18TPT
