Here are a few key points:

• There's a man whose name is not known or mentioned who is healed by a name that is above every name, and the vessel for it is a man who really was an unlikely candidate.

1. Place

• Parallel to our situation without the Jesus! You don't have to lie at the gate and beg. Jesus is waiting for you to come in.

2. Power

Acts 3:3-8

• Reaches out with his right hand... "Instantly" there was strength in his ankles and feet - jumped up, stood on his feet, and began to walk.

• Peter and John stopped where the man was.

•Peter told the man to "look at us"

• We must fix our eyes on Jesus!

• Peter said to the man " I don't have any silver or gold, But i'll give you what I have. in the name of Jesus Christ, the Nazarene get up and walk!" • They had the authority of the name of Jesus

3. Praise

• People will always remember your past

• God sees potential

4. Preach

• Your strength comes from the Spirit of God

• All we need in our lives are the "BUT GODs!!!"

• It is in the midst of the sin that the love is revealed. But we don't must keep sinning.

5. Promise

• Acts 3:17-21 "Repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away. Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord, and he will again send you Jesus, your appointed Messiah. For he must remain in heaven until the time for for the final restoration of all things, as God promised long ago though his holy prophets.

•Reminding them that they helped put Jesus to death, but Jesus was resurrected, and by Jesus' power the lame man was healed. Jesus said from the cross, "Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing"

6. Persecution

• The cross has happened - resurrection has happened. Spirit has come. There's persecution ahead, but there's progress ahead.

• Always persecution with progress. Either from the outside or even your flesh

• Peter preached - 5,000 men saved even though they hauled him off to jail.

• Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, and speaking the name of Jesus! Same Peter that denied Jesus - now, he's SPIRIT FILLED PETER!

• Jesus had made Peter and the other disciples a promise - Holy Spirit will fill your mouth. So be ready and bold!!

• SAME GOD!! We walk in the SAME power and authority of Jesus!

• There is power in His name!! In Jesus NAME!!

• Your faith can't be in the miracle(s). It must be in the man. It must be in Jesus. It must be in what he did. That's the basis of our faith. JUST JESUS!! And in the power of His name (Jesus) can do all things!!
